今回の動画の概要
今回の動画では、英語の学習を目的として日記を書く場合、「ざっくりとした流れ」を書くのではなく「一つの出来事や動作を細かく説明」することで、語彙力を増やすことができるというお話をしています。
上の英文は、「ざっくり」と書くと I ate breakfast as soon as I woke up because I was starving. となります。しかし、自分の行動をつぶさに観察すると、「起きる」「一階の台所に急いで行く」「コーヒーマシーンをセットする」「リンゴとキウイを切る」「コーヒーを淹れる」、これらの動作が行われていることに気付きます。それを全て英語で言えるか確認する意味も込めて、概要だけでなく詳細なステップ（動作・感情）を書き記してみましょう。A little extra effort goes a long way.
