Hey Chris, do you know where my keys are? （クリス、私の鍵どこか知らない？）
Where are my keys? だと聴きとれるけれど、Do you know where my keys are? の語順になると聴きとれないという悩み・・・ keys areの語の並びが音の連結により聴きとりにくくなります。
I have been looking all over for them. （その辺りじゅうずっと探しているんだけど・・・）
look for という形でがちがちに暗記していると、all という単語が間に挟まって look all over という予期せぬ形に驚くかもしれません。この強調のall は頻繁に使われますのでぜひ覚えましょう。
I am pretty sure I left them in the key box last night. （昨夜 Key Boxに入れたはずなんだけど）
