Only a handful of people came to John’s farewell party. It was Monday night, and everyone was quite busy.
（少数の人しかジョンのお別れ会に来なかったの。月曜日の夜だったし皆とても忙しかったからね。）
John can be a handful sometimes. / John is kind of a handful.
（ジョンは時々面倒な人になりうるわ。ジョンってちょっと面倒な人だわ。）
